This lecture provides the participants with a broad definition of Pharmacogenetics and the principles of Pharmacogenetics Testing (PGT). We will dive into testing methodologies and how testing is performed as well as the benefits for PGT testing. Finally, we will discuss overall outcome data for leading causes of death in the U.S. along with common adverse reactions that accompany using the wrong medications.

About the Speaker
Dr. Tony Valencia is Founder & Director of Medical Affairs for East-West Advocates, LLC, company that advocates on the behalf of patients with cancer.
He received his Bachelors of Science in Kinesiology from UCLA, 1987 and his Doctorate in Chiropractic from The Los Angeles College of Chiropractic in 1991.
