As we all know, in order to keep it we give back …
The mission of The Foundation is to provide charitable support to community based services related to addiction prevention and recovery programs. The Bookstore was opened to be of service to those in treatment, visitors to the campus and the local recovery community. The proceeds from the Bookstore go directly to The Foundation. Over the past 5 years The Foundation Board of Directors has graciously approved monetary contributions to organizations such as Triangle Stepping Stones, William & Mary’s New Leaf Clinic, and Rams in Recovery.
New this year the Board of Directors has approved funds for Sober Living Scholarships for current patients at The Farley Center who are in need of assistance. The scholarship provides funding for one month’s rent and deposit, and is paid directly to the sober living facility. To date we have provided 7 scholarships and to see the faces of the recipients when they find out they were approved is priceless.
How can you help …
- Volunteer your time to work in the Bookstore – the more it is open, the more we are able to help the recovery community and our scholarship fund
- Make a tax-deductible contribution to The Foundation (checks may be made out to The Foundation at Williamsburg Place and mailed to the address below)
Thank you for your consideration to help the recovery community.
